My Avva (dad's momma) is pretty awesome!
The reasons:
1) She cooks the best meals. I swear, you have not tasted world class indian food unless you've eaten my Avva's cooking! Her yogurt curry is to die for.
2) She removes the evil eye! You see, she believes that godawful people like to cast evil eyes on us so she does this biweekly ritual of removing it!
3) She prays for me, my sis and my lovely cousins before we sit for every exam. This may be the only reason i graduated from grad school!
4) She remembers everyones birthdays, anniversaries and even our daily schedule of classes and flight details despite her lack of memory.
5) She loves our family to bits!
